IBERS Distance Learning

Established in 2012, IBERS Distance Learning has built a strong reputation for training forward-thinking agrifood professionals. Our mission is simple: help the sector become more sustainable, resilient, and circular.

Our expertly designed online modules deliver the latest in sustainability practice, emerging technologies, and practical communication skills — so you can apply knowledge with confidence and lead change effectively.

With our flexible pay-as-you-go, pick-and-mix format, you can study a single module or build towards a full postgraduate qualification. From shorter supply chains and waste reduction to identifying carbon hotspots — across sectors from meat and dairy to arable and plant breeding — you choose what fits your goals.

All qualifications available through IBERS DL are validated by Aberystwyth University.

How are our online modules delivered?

Each distance learning module runs for 13/14 weeks and is delivered entirely online. Learning material in each weekly unit is made up of: an interactive study guide, videoed lectures and discussions, downloadable podcasts, guided reading, interactive quizzes, and an online discussion forum. To participate you will need access to broadband that can stream a YouTube video.
