Steve Jones Public lecture

Professor Steve Jones

The eminent geneticist, Professor Steve Jones, will deliver a public lecture entitled "The Serpent's Promise: the Bible reinterpreted as science" at Aberystwyth University on Thursday 5 September.

The lecture will take place at 7.30p.m. in the Main Hall of the International Politics Building on the University’s Penglais Campus.

Professor Jones is a former Head of the Department of Genetics, Evolution and Environment at University College, London and a member of the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Science (IBERS) External Advisory Board.

He is also a television presenter and a prize-winning author on the subject of biology, and one of the contemporary popular writers on evolution.
