Gareth Chapman

Gareth joined Aberystwyth University as a HR Business Partner in October 2021. Prior to joining Aberystwyth he was Senior HR Advisor at the College of Medical and Dental Sciences at the University of Birmingham.

As HR Business Partner, Gareth works in partnership with FASS, FBAPS, and several Professional Services areas to provide a professional HR and organisational development service that is customer-focused and drives performance improvement.

Gareth’s primary role is to develop strategies and implement business and workforce initiatives, which support Faculty/Professional Service plans and objectives. He is also accountable for providing operational support to managers on complex employee relations issues in conjunction with other HR colleagues.
