Postgraduate Conference Guidelines

  •  All postgraduate students are eligible to participate 

  • Each student is given 10 minutes to present and 5 minutes to discuss and answer questions 

  • Illustrate how the research is related to the conference's theme

  • State the research question and the problem it addresses  

  • State the rationale for your research(why is your research needed? Does it fill a gap in existing knowledge? Does it apply theory to a new empirical case?) 

  • Demonstrate the methodology and the research design which will be used in your research(how you will achieve your aims and test/explore your hypotheses) 

  • Outline the particular contribution your study aims to make 

  • The font size to be used for your main title should be larger than 30 

  • Microsoft PowerPoint is the sole presentation software to be used 

  • There is no maximum PowerPoint slides, however 10 slides(1 for each minute of presenting) is encouraged 

  • Ability to answer all questions from the audience
