Gender and gender identity
Founded in 1872 on the principles not only of academic achievement but also of inclusion, in opening its doors to all irrespective of their background, becoming one of the first institutions to admit female students. We continue to champion inclusivity and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the advancement of gender equality: representation, progression and success for all.
Our approach to gender equality recognises the intersections between gender and other characteristics and advance our work by being outcomes focussed.
