The Ivory Coast and Natures Gifts

The CRiSis team is currently developing research links with the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques en Cote d'Ivoire (CSRS) in The Ivory Coast. This project aims to develop a research programme focussing on the value and management of forest ecosystem services in the Ivory Coast, with particular interests focussing on natures contribution to people. This project aims to assess how local people value forests and how this value can be fed into government policy, in order to protect these important ecosystem services.
