It was great being part of the picture. Everyone shared their love for the University and their different memories. I’m confident that the University will continue to provide special opportunities for its students in Wales and globally.
Gwenda Sippings (Old Students’ Association)We did have a few sleepless nights worrying about the weather, who would turn up. But as always, staff not only want to support but want to play an active role in celebrating Abers longevity and appreciate the role it plays supporting the community.
Siân Owen (150 image co-ordinator )It was great to be part of the university`s history, a memory that will last for ever. I look forward to supporting the work of improving student experience by playing my part in the team that's continually developing the residences here.
Adrian Sutton (Residences property manager)It was a privilege to be part of the picture, I felt that I was part of a very important record in the University's history. The University is a very special one, a collection of individuals from all over the world which also promotes the Welsh language and its culture.
Nannon Jones (Student)It was an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate our 150th. While reflection on the past is to be cherished, we have a very positive future ahead and by working together we can confidently build on our successes.
Professor Elizabeth Treasure (Vice-Chancellor )As a member of the University council, and more importantly perhaps, an alumni, I was thrilled to be part of this iconic image. It is a true reflection of success, that while we commemorate the past, we continually look to the future.
