The interpersonal skills you develop through extra-curricular experiences are highly valued by employers, and crucial to your effective contribution in the workplace.

These experiences could include your contribution to sports clubs and societies. Work experiences are also very important in your skill development. Explore skills gained through experiences such as volunteering, work placements and your part-time term-time work.

ABERcareers is the Careers Service on-line portal that gives you very easy access to their services.

  • Simply log in using your Aberystwyth University username and password.

The student Enterprise Team provide current students, graduates and others with the support they need to either, become freelance/self-employed, set up their own business/social enterprise, launch a scalable start-up or develop essential enterprise skills.  

We offer inspirational events, skill development workshops, specialist mentoring, annual student business competition, plus advice and guidance through our 1:1 appointments.
