Test A:

Question 10: Wouldn't compile; says intStack instead of

IntStack. Not sure. Assuming that intStack is a

valid Class name...

Comments:

As far as I'm concerned, with these tests, you find yourself

stretched further than with written exams, because you have to be

able to analyse code & understand what that code is doing,

in order to answer the question. With written tests, it's more

dificult, both for the candidate and the examiner (I suppose),

as everyone will have developed their own particular way of

writing code, therefore making it difficult for the examiner to

interpret - it's not the examiner who should be tested, but the

candidate! Questions written in this way are in a standard form

make it mutually easier for both parties.

Test B:

Question 6 - Ambiguity between answers (a) & (b)

Questions 7&8 appeared in Test A aswell! - two questions out of

eleven repeated; is this going to always be the same?

Test B

No probalems.

Need to be harder could do with some

code writing like traditional tests I know

it means more work for you but it would

be good.

Would be nice if didn't have to worry about mice

and keyboards and such. Possible solutions? a set of

exam mice or possible allow people to bring own I'm not sure.

Test A Q11 throw exeptiton? How about a tetris

applet for those who

finish early.

Good idea, allows the student to be properly tested without having to

write pages of code, less stressful and proberbly easier to mark.
