Syllabus / Curriculum design
This module will cover the basic anatomy, physiology and biochemistry of endocrinology, reproduction, growth, development, digestion and nutrition of cattle, sheep and pigs. The practicals will include demonstrations using slaughterhouse material, videos and visits to farms and research stations.
Aims of the module
To provide a basic understanding of the physiological systems and anatomical structures important to the production of cattle, sheep and pigs.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this module students will be able to:
