Our scale of accommodation is unrivalled in Mid Wales, with over 2,000 bedrooms across our residential estate available to visitors during the summer months.

We offer accommodation to suit every budget, from basic campus bedrooms to our new Fferm Penglais development.

All residential guests receive complimentary unlimited high-speed WiFi.

Guest Information

All of our guest accommodation is located on or immediately next to Penglais Campus, Aberystwyth, fifteen minute's walk from the town centre, railway station and amenities.

Most of our accommodation is available for two – night minimum stay.

Check in from 3pm.

Check-out by 10am for the Bunkhouse only, or 9am for all other accommodation.

We operate a no smoking policy within 10 meters of all University buildings. Designated cigarette bins are available.

Premium Ensuite Accommodation - Fferm Penglais

Fferm Penglais

Inspired by the landscape and architecture of rural Wales, our Fferm Penglais provides generous ensuite bedrooms, double beds, and open plan kitchen and lounge areas. With all of today’s creature comforts, such as flat screen TV’s, dishwashers and Wifi accessibility, we know you will have a 5* experience. In fact, Fferm Penglais is the first University accommodation to be awarded 5* by Visit Wales within its Campus Accommodation category. Fferm Penglais can be booked as individual rooms, whole flats or whole blocks.

Please note each flat consists of 6 or 8 bedrooms with shared kitchen facilities and all bedrooms are ensuite.

Our ensuite studios have their own kitchen facilities.

Standard Ensuite - Rosser

Rosser is situated at the top of the main Penglais Campus close to all the Campus amenities. Many of the rooms command fine views of the town and the bay, which are just fifteen minutes' walk away. Flats consist of 8 bedrooms with shared kitchen facilities. All kitchens include a soft seating areas, breakfast bars with stools and appliances which contains a kettle microwave and a hob. Ensuite bathroom consists of a shower, toilet, wash basin sink with a mirror and heated towel rail.

Standard Accommodation - Cwrt Mawr

Cwrt Mawr is situated at the top of the Penglais Campus, close to all the Campus amenities. Many of the rooms also command fine views of the town and the bay, which are just fifteen minutes' walk away. Flats consist of up to 10 bedrooms with shared equipped kitchen facilities which include a kettle, microwave and hob and shared shower facilities.

Pantycelyn

This accommodation is available for Academic Events and School Bookings only.

A five-minute walk from the Penglais campus and town. Pantycelyn, Wales' most famous hall of residence offers brand new en-suite (Shower, toilet, wash basin with mirror) accommodation for up to 198 guests. Shared kitchenette facilities (8 bedrooms to one kitchenette) consist of a Microwave, toaster, water boiler and hob.
