Your comment: It would be so good if we could get a virtual version of our AberCard on our phones like with Apple Wallet! That way it wouldn't matter if we forgot our AberCards to come to lectures or if we get locked out of our flats.

We are currently exploring the possibility of a digital Aber Card. However, due to the limitations of door locks, attendance points and printers, which require the physical proximity of the chip in the card itself, at present this could act as student ID only.
