Delayed International Arrivals

The University is planning to deliver a combination of face-to-face teaching and on-line lectures in the academic year 2021-2022.

We are expecting students to come to campus for the start of the academic year, however, we recognise that some student’s arrival may be delayed due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic.

The University will consider requests for permission to arrive after the start of term from international students whose arrival has been delayed due to travel restrictions, flight cancellations or problems in booking flights, and visa delays.

Requests for permission to arrive after the start of term will only be approved if the course can be studied remotely.

The University is not able to consider requests for permission to arrive after the start of term for health reasons or other personal circumstances.  If you are anxious about coming onto campus, we can reassure you that there are sources of support which are there to help you overcome any worries that you may have.

Please complete the Delayed International Arrival form to request permission to arrive late.

If you have any questions, please email delayedinternationalarrivals@aber.ac.uk.
