Who requires RDM?
Aberystwyth University Policy
The Aberystwyth University Research Data Management Policy was ratified in February 2014 and is reviewed annually.
The management of research data is a core aim of many of Aberystwyth University's top research funders, including the councils which make up UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). The UKRI Common Principles on Research Data state that:
"Publicly funded research data are a public good, produced in the public interest. They should be made openly available with as few restrictions as possible in a timely and responsible manner."
The individual UKRI councils have their own individual RDM policies, as detailed below:
