Carwyn joined RBI in July 2022, having previously worked at Ceredigion County Council as Employee Marketing & Communications Assistant.

Main responsibilities at previous employment

Carwyn’s role was to perform employee recruitment and engagement activities. Carwyn’s main responsibilities were using the CRM system to update candidate applications, using social media channels to promote employment opportunities, preparing newsletters on the CMS system, and updating content on the website. Internal and external communication were used to communicate with managers and candidates.

Education and work experience

Carwyn holds a BSc in Business Management and an MSc in Strategic Marketing from Swansea University. Carwyn has worked in marketing and communication roles for Ceredigion County Council, Swansea City Football Club, Discovery Swansea, and Reval Continuing Care.

Experience and knowledge

Carwyn has experience and knowledge in Marketing Communications, Internal and External Communication, Digital Marketing, Strategic Marketing, and using CRM/CMS systems.

Main responsibilities within RBI

As Research Communications and Engagement Officer, Carwyn’s role includes working across multiple teams to raise awareness of the University’s world-class Research and Innovation.
