41. Veterans Legal Link: Improving access to justice for vulnerable veterans and their families

Olusanya developed the Veterans Legal Link (VLL), a Wales-wide military-focused multi-agency health-justice project.

To-date the VLL project has successfully supported 1025 veterans and their families from diverse backgrounds and ages in multiple locations pan-Wales.

Clients commonly reported multiple and complex issues in addition to their legal problems, and without the VLL’s support their complex justice needs would not have been met.

Olusanya has had major impact in supporting access to justice and the health and wellbeing needs of military veterans and their families.

He has made a major contribution to increase public support for this issue and played a key role in bringing about transformational change.
