Detelina joined the RBI department in October 2022 as an Administration Assistant for the KESSii project. Her previous employment includes working in administrative and customer-facing roles.

Main responsibilities at previous employment

In her previous role as an admin officer for KESSii, Detelina provided comprehensive support to project staff, managed databases, organised emails, maintained project records and assisted in project closure activities, implementing efficient tracking systems for seamless operations and compliance.

Education and work experience

Detelina has earned a BSc in Psychology and MA in International Politics from Aberystwyth University. Her previous job roles have been administrative supporting roles, front desk, and customer service-based roles in retail. 

Experience and knowledge

Proficient in MS Office. Managed administrative tasks for KESSii Project, including database maintenance, email management, and ensuring timely submissions from both students and staff. Collaborated cross-functionally and extracted data for a variety of reports. Adapted communication for various stakeholders. Prioritised tasks, met tight deadlines, and pursued continuous learning opportunities.

Main responsibilities within RBI

Detelina offers comprehensive support to the department across various functions, including responding to general inquiries, facilitating external visits, organising events, managing diaries and meeting rooms. Additionally, she provides administrative assistance to diverse projects and collaborates closely with research staff.
