Academic Operations Manager – Faculty of Humanities

As Academic Operations Manager, Sarah provides support to the Faculty of Humanities and the Institute of Biological and Research Sciences (IBERS) on Faculty governance processes as well as providing a lead on process changes and improvements. 

Together with the Academic Operations Manager (Faculty of Sciences), she manages the Academic Operations team of officers, who support academic departments on operational matters, including:

• HR and recruitment processes
• Finance and research grant administration
• Enabling and supporting health and safety processes
• Enabling and supporting estates processes
• Space allocation and management
• Travel and operational logistics

The Academic Operations Managers also provide support to some professional service departments, such as the Doctoral Academy and IT Services.
