Identify the challenges faced in implementing and continuing control of diseases and improvement of welfare issues
Brief description
An exploration of the health and welfare challenges faced by the dairy, beef and sheep, pig and poultry sectors, including: disease control, economic factors and emerging models and technologies
Content
Through a series of online lectures, guided reading and quizzes, students will explore:
- Disease control policies and research.
- Mechanisms for controlling disease globally, nationally and locally.
- The future cost and complexity of developing technologies and theoretical models for livestock disease diagnosis and control
