On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
1. Know the financial information requirements of equine business proprietors.
2. Construct financial statements.
3. Interpret and analyze a set of equine business accounts.
4. Write a report on the financial statements of an equestrian business.
5. Undertake a comparative review and profit assessment.
Brief description
This module will provide an understanding of the needs of business accounts users, construction of financial statements and analysis of equine business accounts. The module provides a comprehensive understanding of the need for, principles involved, and methods used to record, measure and analyze the performance of an equestrian business.
Content
The module will cover the requirements of equine business proprietors and account users, construction of financial statements, interpretation and analysis of equine business accounts and the role for and use of comparative analysis and benchmarking.
