Brief description

The module provides a further opportunity for students taking the range of optional modules unique to the Creative Arts degree scheme from across the IAH departments and Fine Art students to continue to work together as a focused group, enabling them to build upon a rich and interactive dialogue between themselves and the degree scheme coordinator. Again through a series of lectures, seminars, workshops and group tutorials the students will continue to be encouraged to join up and interrelate elements of their optional taught modules to fully realize two unique self -directed interdisciplinary practice based projects informed by contemporary interdisciplinary research and critical discourse.

The third year module builds upon the professional practice aspects of the second year module, through a series of lectures, seminars and workshops the students will be introduced to examples and theories of curatorial practice and event management, so that they can work together as a team, under tutor supervision, to curate and coordinate the second and third year exhibition/event.
