Brief description
The module aims to provide students with an introduction to and understanding of the structure and function of the musculo-skeletal systems. To provide to the students a basic understanding and knowledge of the structure and function of these physiological systems, so as to facilitate understanding of their role in the application of Sport Science.

Aims
This module provides the foundational anatomical knowledge and an introduction to basis physiological function and control of the muscular and skeletal systems for the sports scientist that is developed further at Levels 2 and 3. Students are empowered to acquire and apply basic anatomical, musculo-skeletal physiological concepts and principles through a variety of learning strategies. This module represents a core unit of study.
