Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
1. You will be aware of the ways in which the term `Celtic' has been used since the fifth-century B.C.
2. You will be able to discuss and explain how descriptions of the Celtic-speaking peoples have evolved over time.
3. You will have studied a selection of relevant ethnographic sources from various periods, ancient, medieval, and modern.
Brief description
Study of the definitions of 'Celticity' and attempts to describe the 'Celts' as a distinct people.
