Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
Demonstrate an ability to analyse critically the different approaches to shaping entrepreneurial vision and identifying opportunity;
Demonstrate an understanding of and critically evaluate the different drivers of innovation and entrepreneurial opportunity;
Critically discuss the role and significance of innovation and its relationship with enterprise and creativity;
Demonstrate an understanding of and critically evaluate how entrepreneurial leadership, teams and networks can contribute to the success of an innovative enterprise;
Demonstrate an understanding of and analyse how entrepreneurial organizations can gain strategic advantage through different enterprise functions;
Critically evaluate the role and purpose of business planning to support innovation and enterprise;
Evaluate and reflect on the process of entrepreneurial learning;
Critically evaluate the keys themes in entrepreneurship research and their contribution to understanding the wider social and economic context to entrepreneurship;
Demonstrate an understanding of and apply the potential role and limitations of government policy to promote enterprise and innovation, and make recommendations on the most appropriate means to support enterprise and innovation.
