Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
1. Display a transferable, systematic understanding of the task of formulating a script topic and a suitable methodology
2. Design and implement some securely grounded, comprehensive creative writing procedures
3. Relate their work to a broad range of up-to-date knowledge and / or practice in their chosen fields
4. To present their work in an appropriate manner.
Aims
The module allows students to apply the information they compiled in Semester Two's TFM2720 Research Project. (Genre, Individual Research).
Brief description
2. Students will be matched with an appropriate supervisor and required to work independently with regular tutorials.
Content
Students will specialise in one genre, building on the structures they have learned in Semester One and the research they have carried out in Semester Two. This module requires students to apply all that they have learned to produce a substantial portfolio of professional-quality writing. This will consist of (1) an outline or series bible (depending on their medium) and (2) a script or scripts (depending on length; maximum length of 90 pages) .
