Brief description
This student-centred module involves a field course and/or series of visits where selected rural tourism enterprises are critically examined. Field reports on selected rural tourism enterprises are prepared. Students will identify their information requirements through a combination of documentary and interview material.
The module integrates the core subjects of the first year programme and enables students to study the rural tourism industry at first hand.
