Brief description
This is the core module for Modern Welsh Studies Year 3.
This module offers students the opportunity to prepare an extended essay which will demonstrate their ability to combine more than one element / aspect studied in Part 2. Students will agree on the choice of topic with the module co-ordinator and will attend regular individual tutorials by arrangement for guidance in the research and writing stages of the project.
The module will enable students to become acquainted with sources relating to the study of Welsh history, politics and culture. It allow them develop their general research and information handling skills and to apply their knowledge in an academic context.
