Hannah Jones

Hannah Jones is the Healthcare Education Partnerships Manager, responsible for managing and overseeing all data reporting from the Healthcare Education Centre to our commissioners at Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW). In her role, Hannah ensures the accurate, timely, and effective collation and analysis of data that supports the delivery, commissioning, and evaluation of healthcare education programmes, providing valuable insights for workforce planning and development.

A key aspect of Hannah’s role involves working closely with a range of external stakeholders, including Higher Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW), partner health boards, partner organisations and regional education providers. She is instrumental in developing and maintaining strong working relationships, ensuring clear communication, effective partnership working, and the seamless exchange of information between the organisation and its external partners.

In addition to this, Hannah is the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Official Correspondent for the department. In this capacity, she acts as the primary point of contact for all official communications and regulatory correspondence with the NMC, supporting the department in maintaining compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Hannah holds an academic degree in Film and Television, bringing a creative, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to data management and organisational processes. She began her career within higher education in 2007, spending nine years in the University’s Human Resources department, where she built a strong foundation in operational management and staff development. She then served as Departmental Administrator for the Information Services department for seven years, further honing her expertise in administrative leadership.

Since joining the nursing team, Hannah has also provided valuable support to both the Principal Lead and Head of Healthcare Education, contributing to the coordination, and operational delivery of healthcare education initiatives. Her varied background across Aberystwyth University equips her with the skills to navigate foster effective partnerships across the healthcare sector.
