If you want to prepare for an undergraduate course, our International Foundation Certificate may suit you. We offer Pathways in Business, Computer Science, International Politics and Theatre, Film and Television. You can also progress from these pathways to a number of Aberystwyth University departments, including Education, History, Law, Psychology and English Literature.

Successful completion guarantees acceptance onto your chosen undergraduate course at Aberystwyth University and a generous scholarship. The International Foundation Course is also accepted by many other UK universities.

Pre-sessional English Courses

Students who have been offered a place on an undergraduate or postgraduate course at Aberystwyth University, but need to improve their English, can take a Pre-sessional or Pre-Sessional Plus Course.
