It is not a requirement but it is strongly encouraged. Vaccination protects students, staff and the wider community in Aberystwyth. It helps us all stay safe, slow the spread of COVID-19 and enable teaching and learning. Although not compulsory, you are strongly encouraged to get your COVID vaccination to protect yourself and others.
I am an international student and have had a first dose of a vaccine that is not given in the UK. What should I do about my second dose?
I am an international student, and had my first dose of the vaccine in my home country. How do I arrange my second dose?
Please register with a local GP (family doctor) as a temporary resident as soon as you can. You can do this by contacting your nearest GP. This will create a temporary NHS number for you. When you are registered, please call the health board on 0300 303 8322 or email COVIDenquiries.email@example.com to book an appointment at a mass vaccination centre.
