Biomass connect is part of a £36 million programme being funded through the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s net zero innovation portfolio. The project aims to research the potential of increasing the production of sustainable UK biomass for clean energy. The project seeks to provide independent, efficacious and robust evidence and knowledge on biomass feedstock utilisation in the UK via the analysis of a series of hub site trial plots across the country.
Environment and Rural Affairs Monitoring & Modelling Programme (ERAMMP)
The KE Hub is a part of the team involved in the ERAMMP programme which looks to support the policy development in Wales concerning the social, economic and environmental resilience of sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, tourism and forestry.
