Research and Teaching Success for Postgraduate Students

The Department is celebrating the recent achievements of its postgraduate students. Congratulations to Dr Simon Payne, who passed his PhD viva on the 2nd June 2011. Simon, who completed his PhD studies within the Department with the aid of an Aberystwyth Postgraduate Research Scholarship, examined self-presentation and impression management motives in sport.

Furthermore, the quality of the Department's postgraduate teaching has once again been recognised.  Sarah Forrest has been awarded the University's Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award, building on the success of Les Tumilty who received the award last year.
