CARAS Visit to IBERS

A delegation representing the four royal shows throughout the UK visited IBERS at Aberystwyth University in April 2009.
Representatives from CARAS - Council for Awards for the Royal Agricultural Society;  were in Aberystwyth to welcome the incoming Chairman Mr. Cyril Davies.
Mr. Davies said
“The CARAS members attended presentations by research staff and were given a comprehensive tour of the IBERS Gogerddan site. It was an eye opener and all members were very impressed by the range of research activity currently being undertaken within IBERS. The contribution IBERS can and is making to agriculture and the environment is inspiring. CARAS members fully support the work being done within IBERS and the afternoon was an enjoyable and beneficial experience for all concerned.”
