Graduation 2024 - Planning Your Day

We look forward to welcoming you and your guests to Graduation. Detailed below is useful information to help you plan your day.

On your arrival our Campus Services team will direct you to guest parking; designated Blue Badge parking will be available close to the Arts Centre with level access into the building*.

When planning your celebration, please use the opening times for registration and robe hire for your ceremony as a guide to the earliest point you need to be on campus.  Please ensure you arrive early enough in order to give yourself time to complete registration and collect your robe without having to rush.

Information on the formal and ceremonial aspects of Graduation can be found on our Frequently Asked Questions webpage.

Additional friends and family who do not have a ticket for admission to the Great Hall are welcome to view the ceremonies through our live stream locations in the Cinema in the Arts Centre or in the Students’ Union

Please note, in the event that spare tickets become available for guest entry into the Great Hall, these will be released on a first come basis at the registration desk.  In this situation, these will only be released once registration for the ceremony concerned has opened - any available tickets may be limited to a maximum of 2 per graduand.

Cashless Campus - Please note all outlets on campus are cashless – we accept all debit and credit cards and Apple Pay.

*If you, or a member of your party has additional requirements which you have not previously notified us of, please contact graduation.office@aber.ac.uk so we can put in place any additional measures which will help to make your day run smoothly.  If you have previously notified us of any additional requirements, our Graduation Team will contact you separately with further information.
