Race Equality Event

As mentioned in the weekly bulletin last week and as part of the upcoming Race Equality Week, we will be hosting a special event for all staff and students on Wednesday 8 February. 'Race Equality – It's Our Business' will take place between 14:00-16:30. It will include a number of sessions and will take place in the Students’ Union building. As a University we have a committed ourselves to being genuinely inclusive and actively anti-racist in practice as well as intention. We are beginning work towards implementing our Race Action Plan and have started the preparatory work towards accreditation with the Race Equality Charter.
