Dissertation Re-Submission

STUDENTS STARTING A MASTERS DEGREE OR POSTGRADUATE AWARD FROM SEPTEMBER 2018

Students who fail their dissertation module, either through failure to meet the required pass mark of 50% or failure by non-submission may resit the failed module on two occasions for a maximum mark of 50% (other than where special circumstances have been accepted).

Following the relevant examination board, students will be informed of their results and offered the option to resubmit their dissertation. Students who wish to take up the option to resubmit will need to complete and return a Postgraduate Resubmission Form which will be forwarded to them to complete along with their resubmission date. The fee for the resubmission of a postgraduate dissertation for 2024/2025 is £145

The Postgraduate Resubmission Form must be completed by the deadline given. If a student decides they do not wish to continue with their studies, they should notify the Postgraduate Administration Team in writing to pgsstaff@aber.ac.uk. Students who fail to return the form by the deadline and who have not informed us of their intention will be assumed to have decided not to continue with their studies and will be permanently withdrawn from the course.

Any queries regarding Taught Postgraduate Resubmission should be directed to pgsstaff@aber.ac.uk
